Researcher/Postdoctoral Positions at Thomas Jefferson University
Two research positions are available in the Igyártó laboratory.
The Igyártó laboratory is funded through NIH and TJU. The lab is seeking well-trained, highly motivated candidates with a Ph.D. in immunology or related fields, who can work with minimal oversight on the innovative projects listed below. Candidates with experience in mouse models, mouse and human dendritic cells (DCs), flow cytometry, histology, imaging techniques, molecular techniques/data analysis (RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, ChIP-seq, microarray, CRISPRCas9,
etc.) are preferred.
Projects:
• Regulation of humoral immune responses by different DC subsets – DC-subset-tailored vaccines.
• Intracellular monitoring by DCs.
• The role of DCs in regulating tissue homeostasis (from a non-immunological perspective).
• DC plasticity versus functional specialization.
Application Instructions:
Please contact the PI directly with a cover letter describing your past research accomplishments, future research interests and career goals, curriculum vitae, and contact information for three references.
