Biomedica Cikkpályázat a 41. MIT Vándorgyűlés alkalmából (2012)
A Magyar Immunológiai Társaság (MIT) 41. Vándorgyűlés alkalmából meghirdeti
a
BIOMEDICA HUNGÁRIA Kft. Cikkpályázatot.
Pályázni lehet 2011. szeptember 1. után nemzetközi folyóiratban megjelent, vagy
a fenti dátumot követően igazoltan elfogadásra került,
immunológiai, ill. immunológiához kapcsolódó molekuláris biológiai témájú közleménnyel.
A pályázat benyújtásának feltételei:
- 35 évnél fiatalabb kor (édesanyák esetében gyermekenként +2 évvel emelkedik a korhatár),
- MIT tagság, és a pályázónak ne legyen tagdíj tartozása a pályázat benyújtásakor,
- a pályázó regisztrált résztvevője kell, hogy legyen a 2012. évi 41. MIT Vándorgyűlésnek,
- a díj elnyerése esetén vállalnia kell, hogy a cikk anyagából 15 perces előadást tart,
- az első vagy utolsó szerző nevénél legyen magyar anyaintézmény is.
Az előbbi feltételek mellett a Bíráló Bizottság előnyben részesíti a döntően magyar kutatóműhelyben készült cikkeket.
A beküldött cikkeket a MIT tudományos pályázatokat elbíráló bizottsága értékeli.
A pályázat díja 2012-ben
bruttó 120.000 Ft.
Az összeg a kutatómunkához szükséges, a BIOMEDICA HUNGÁRIA Kft. által forgalmazott termékek levásárlására fordítható.

A PubMed-ben még nem listázott, de 2011. szeptember 1. után elfogadott cikkek esetében kérjük az elfogadást igazoló dokumentum e-mail-ben történő eljuttatását is.

Az eredmény kihirdetésére és a díj átadására a MIT Közgyűlésén kerül sor, amelyet
2012. október 18-án (csütörtök) a koraesti órákban tartunk, majd a díjazott cikk anyagából az előadást másnap, 2012. október 19-én (péntek) hallgatjuk meg.

EMDS Meeting - EFIS-EJI Travel Grant (Db, 2012.09.01-03.)
EFIS-EJI Travel Grant
To promote scientific contacts of young scientist from the neighbouring countries of Hungary, the European Federation of Immunological Societies (EFIS) and the European Journal of Immunology (EJI) supports the travel costs of young researchers working in the field of macrophage and dendritic cell biology from Austria, Croatia, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Ukraine. The grant will cover travel bursaries of 14 young researchers <35 years by 250 EUR.
Application for the EFIS – EJI travel grant should include a short CV, summary of research activities and achievements and a list of publications. The application should be sent to the organizers not later than 13th of May 2012.
The applications will be evaluated by a scientific committee by 20th of May 2012.
Members of the EMDS (below the age of 35) can apply for EMDS Conference Travel Awards. What candidates for EMDS travel awards can do is:
a) become a member of EMDS, unless they are a member already (membership fee is € 25)
b) apply for an award
c1) register and pay for the conference directly or
c2) register and pay for the conference after having received information that they will get an award.
A few spaces have been reserved at the EMDS 2012 meeting to ensure that the awardees of EMDS Travel Awards can still register in case they have not done so yet.
Applications need to be submitted to the president of the EMDS (contact details can be found on the EMDS website) 3 months before the EMDS conference (i.e. 2nd June 2012). After the travel award deadline, a decision is being made by the EMDS council based on CV, publication record, scientific quality of the submitted abstract and financial needs of the applicant (usually within 2 weeks) and the awardees are informed upfront.
Please be aware that registrations are processed at the registration fee valid at the time of registration. Register and pay the registration fee before 31th May to take advantage of a € 100 early bird registration fee discount.
ICI 2013 BURSARIES TO YOUNG IMMUNOLOGISTS
ICI 2013 will grant 50 bursaries to young immunologists (<35 years old). Applicants must be first and presenting author of an accepted abstract at ICI2013, and must not have a permanent position in their academic/research institution. Applicants will be requested to provide age and work position details at the time of abstract submission. Selection will be based exclusively on abstract quality. Awardees will not pay the meeting registration fee and will be offered hospitality at the ICI2013 Campus in the university hostel Collegio di Milano for the entire congress period. Travel expenses will not be covered by ICI 2013. Applicants winning travel awards from other sources will not be eligible for the ICI bursaries.
IUIS/GATES FOUNDATION TRAVEL GRANTS FOR YOUNG IMMUNOLOGISTS FROM DEVELOPING COUNTRIES
IUIS and The Bill and Melissa Gates Foundation will allocate 36 travel grants to immunologists from developing countries (non-OECD countries; for a list please visit http://www.oecd.org). Applicants must be first and presenting author of an accepted abstract at ICI2013, and must not have a permanent position in their academic/research institution. Applicants will be requested to provide work position and publication details at the time of abstract submission. Selection will be based exclusively on abstract quality. Awardees will not pay the meeting registration fee, will be offered hospitality at the ICI2013 Campus in the university hostel Collegio di Milano for the entire congress period, and will be refunded for travel expenses up to 600 US dollars. Applicants winning travel awards from other sources will not be eligible for the IUIS/GATES Foundation travel grants.

ICI Milan 2013 - Travel Grants (IUIS / Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation) (
IUIS / Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Grants will be awarded to 36 young immunologists from developing countries to attend ICI Milan 2013.
Grants are valued at $1,650 and cover costs of registration ($250), lodging fees ($500), food allowance ($300) and travel ($600).

2. Next, submit an abstract to ICI before Feb. 15, 2013, at this link.
3. When submitting the abstract, follow the steps printed in green letters in the left column on the abstract submission page. There, you will find the “Bursaries / travel grants” option.
4. By applying, applicants confirm that they are
• The first and presenting author of the paper, and
• A resident of a Non-OECD country (see list in this email or at this link.)
5. Applicants must add a CV online to their application.

The European Federation of Immunological Societies (EFIS) will award travel grants to the value of 600 Euros to 200 participants (for young post-docs and PhD-students under 35 years of age) requesting financial support to attend the ECI 2012. The age limit will not strictly apply for applicants from developing countries.
To be eligible for a grant, the applicant must be the first author of an abstract submitted to the ECI 2012. The applicant must also be a member of an EFIS constituent society.
